Happy Halloween!

Here’s a grainy camera phone picture of the jack-0′-lantern my son and I made last night. He designed the eyes and mouth and I did the carvin’. Pretty scary, huh?

I always enjoy Halloween. My neighbor and I stand outside giving out candy, drinking beer and shooting the shiznit. It’s been a tradition now for the past five years. It should be especially nice this year since it’ll actually feel like Halloween for a change. The temp should be in the low 50’s tonight. It’s a lot better than sweating into the candy bowl like I usually do. I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween. Surely some of you will be attending costume parties since it’s on a Friday this year. If you are, let me know what your costume will be. If I were going to a party, first of all I would have to actually have friends who would invite me. But hypothetically, if I did and I was I’d probably go as Phil Fulmer. Because we look so much alike…
I saw this cartoon on The Sliverbacks and I thought it was quite funny and true. I’m going to share it here, although you’ve probably already seen it.

Have a good weekend and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
