What's "Up Chuck"?

A long time ago (summer of 1988) in a galaxy far far away (Panama City Beach, Florida) I ruled as the pirate captain of The Treasure Ship.  I had been a part of a successful run of The Pirates of Penzance in the local community theater and the performance had been noticed by the owners and marketing people of The Treasure Ship.  They got it in their heads to hire a “pirate crew” to walk the decks and entertain the many tourists who would visit for dinner, drinks and fun.  I auditioned and was hired to be the the captain.  Two other guys were also hired to be crew and a female actor was chosen to be the “innocent maiden” who was captured by the pirates.  Man, what a wild summer that was.  I had the time of my life.  Getting paid to walk around, staying in character the whole time complete with British accent, and becoming (to my shock and amazement) a literal sex symbol to many young high school and college aged female visitors.  I don’t know if it was the crushed red velvet coat and breeches, the lacy white color and sleeves, the white stockings or the tri cornered hat and feather that got the juices flowing, but they sure were flowing.  The chicks really seemed to dig me.  The elastic waist band of those velvet breeches made easy access to the Chuckie goodies on many occasions in dark spaces and around corners of that there ship.  If I could go back and relive one period of my life it would defintely be the summer of ‘88; the one and only time I’ve felt like a rock star.
