What’s “Up Chuck”?

I’ve been vomiting forth the excitement that is my life….Since July 2004

It’s hard out here for a pimp.

Posted by Chuck on November 6th, 2007

Yep, I’m ready for basketball! At least one ESPN “expert” has chosen the Tennessee Vols to win the national championship! It’s gonna be a good season, for both the men’s and the womenfolk’s team. I can feel it deep down in my bone. Reckon you can guess which one? ;)

That’s the UT head coach, Bruce Pearl, there with the “V” on his chest.

All that aside, basketball isn’t the total reason for this post. I’m actually wanting to let all you peeps know I’ll be gone the rest of the week, pimpin’ my wares to the public. I’ll be on the road each and everyday (through Friday), so don’t expect to hear back from me before early next week. I hope to get a chance or two to check a few of y’all out at night, but don’t count on it. It’s gonna be a long one I tell ya, and I’m already looking forward to Friday around 5 when it’s all over. Then I plan on heading up to Knoxville for the game. So, until I blog at ya again, y’all be good!

Now that’s a hyped up coach. Gotta love that!

Be careful in your travels Chuckie..

    You coming this way?

  3. Chuck Says:

Mushy - Thanks for commenting. I figure everyone else finds this post too boring! And true…what a chance. What if the men and women brought home the titles?!

Slick - Yep, I’m pulling into your apartment complex right now…

  4. Becky Says:

THat middle guy kind of looks like you. Have safe travels!

  5. Julie Says:

Well, I’ll have to take your word for it. I don’t watch basketball. It is probably one of the few sports I don’t watch. I’ll watch the Final Four, but that’s about it. Good luck to your Vols!

    Have a fun week!

So the big T has adopted Kentucky’s old football cheer “Wait Til Basketball Season”?
    Safe travels……….

  7. Chuck Says:

Becky - You think this guy looks like me? Well, I guess that’s pretty cool. I’d rather have his money instead of his looks though…

Julie - Well thanks toots!  You’re so sweet!

SugDad - Ha…….ha…..very funny. We’ll see about the big T when they make it to Atlanta and beat LSU….LOL Yeah, I’m delusional….

You know, I couldn’t give a rat fuck about basketball, but I hope your teams win. Good luck man, and have a good time on the road. And I hope that paint washes off. Damn.

  9. Chas Says:

Jason is so excited about basketball this season. I guess the football season has kind of done him in.

  10. Jerry Says:

Bruce Pearl is great (although his wife may think otherwise). He’s in pretty good shape for an old guy (my age). I hope Tennessee goes all the way this year.

Um. What dressing up like pumpkins have to do with Basketball?? ;)

Safe travels. I hope people buy lots and lots.

This is going to be one of those years. Pearl said the other night he was “disappointed” in Wayne Chism, who nearly had a double-double. Duke Crews may get his PT shaved significantly (That’s “playing time” not a body part) and Pearl says Ramar Smith is the most intense player on the team.
This could be a national championship chase. I’m SO stoked.
Keep up the good work, Chuck!!

When I was a student at UT I could’ve cared less about the men’s basketball program. Now though, I’m on both the ladies’ and men’s bandwagons and am seriously excited for this season. I even liked the coverage of Coach Pearl in SI a few weeks ago. The thought of having multiple championships in basketball makes me all tingly!!

Bruce Pearl is a nut. He coached a team here before UT and was always game for a good joke.
