A quick hello, then I got to run….

Edit: 4-3-07 Yep, I’m still in Mobile working my ass off. I thought I’d leave an edit and mention something I had intended to mention yesterday, but forgot. Yesterday was the four year anniversary of the divorce from my first wife, F.A. My how the time has flown and it’s certainly been an interesting four years. That is all…
Man, I hope your weekend was as good as mine. I had wonderful family time both Saturday and Sunday. We dined together, shopped, watched movies, had another soccer game (they won again and my son scored a goal!), stocked up at Sams and ate some killer fillet mignon…twice. Spending time with the ones you love most is really awesome!
Today I head out of town for yet another food show. I’ll be in Mobile, Alabama till Wednesday. This time I’ll be going alone. Susan found out on Friday that she’s been hired with a national company she’d been interviewing with over the past couple weeks. It’s really a great opportunity and she’s very excited. The base pay is fifteen thousand more a year than she was making before, with the potential for a lot more in commissions and bonuses. And they pay a car allowance and provide a cell phone. She’s really lucked out. I’ve kinda gotten used to her being home these past four weeks, but her earning again will be even better!
Way to go Lady Vols on your 56-50 win over UNC last night! It was awesome to watch, and scary at times. Tuesday night The University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers will play Rutgers for the National Championship, and I’ll be watching! GO VOLS!!
Well that’s about it. I gotta run. I hope you all had as wonderful a weekend as I did. Tell me about something fun or crazy you did! Talk to ya in a few days…
P.S. If any of y’all are fans of the reality show, The Bachelor, you might want to tune in tonight at 9:30/8:30 CST. A good friend of Susan’s, from her old job, is one of the contestants this season. Just look for the girl from Alabama who works in radio. Susan actually had drinks with her Saturday night, but she wouldn’t talk about the details of the show. Some kind of confidentiality agreement. Anyway, it should be fun to watch.
