What’s up you ask? Well, my life is in turmoil. I’m preparing to fight for full custody of my two precious children. I’m having to oversee, when I allow it, any visitation my ex has with my kids. Having been set back financially due to legal fees, and a few other unexpected expenditures, I’m struggling to gain a foothold on our finances. I’m working hard to not let my personal life interfere with my job, but unfortunately that’s not working too well. Over all I’m a mess. These are just five things. Five issues I’m fighting tooth and nail to overcome. Believe it or not, there are even more…but I won’t bore you. I want nothing more than to succeed.

A little over 25 months ago, on July 23, 2004 I first wrote on my blog, “Well, hello. My name is Chuck and I am a 35 yr. old married man living in the deep south. I have recently discovered the wonderful world of blogging and thought, “what the hell, this seems fun….maybe I will give it a try.” Well I did give it a try. For more than two years, but now it must come to an end.

This will be my last post. I know that this is the right thing to do. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you all. I know I’ll keep in touch with many of you, so this isn’t a total end. In my opinion it’s a new beginning. I’ve got to make some changes, both personally and professionally.

I want to thank each and every one of you who have ever read and commented. Especially those of you over the past two weeks. Your comments and e-mails have meant a lot to me during this crazy time. I’m planning on all this turning out the way I want it to. Much like the Tennessee/California game this past Saturday night.
