I have been sitting here for the past thirty minutes reading a very interesting blog. The Diary From Baghdad is written by a young married Iraqi woman who has some very powerful things to say about her county, the war, and day to day activity in Baghdad. If you have a chance, check her blog out.

Well, I would count the yardsale as a success. Susan and I got out there at 6:30am yesterday and today and set out all our wares (our used crap) on the driveway in the cold. We made right at $315.00 for our efforts. Not much, but a nice addition to the income. A little extra cash will come in handy this time of the year. The highlight of the sale was when I sold a $400.00 Dooney and Burke purse for $3.00. Oh, well you live and learn. Guess it made somebody pretty happy.
This afternoon I have raked leaves and bagged up two bags full, and cut the grass for the last time this year. Tomorrow Susan and I are going to do a little Christmas shopping for each other. We have already bought the kids all their presents, and now its time to buy a little something for ourselves as well as our parents/sisters.
The SEC conference game begins in about ten minutes so I had better get myself in there to watch. Tennessee versus Auburn…..GO VOLS!!!
Edit (10:19pm): It was a courageous attempt at a comeback. The game was even tied for a bit, but it wasn’t meant to be for my Tennessee Vols. They lost by 10. I could use some cheering up…ladies feel free to send pictures of your boobies!
