Well, lets see…I last left you late on Friday night (or early on Saturday morning) and I apologize for taking until now to catch you up on my weekend of bachelorhood. First I must explain, yesterday I spent most of the morning getting the house cleaned up before Susan returned around 1pm. Today I worked with a guy who flew in from Indy to make some customer calls with me. This has been the first chance I have had to sit down at the laptop for more than a couple minutes.

So, what happened on Saturday? Well, I called an escort service around 8pm and they sent out a tall redhead with a nice rack. She went by the name of Sparkey. Damn was she HOT……..okay, I jest…….sorry Bubba!

The truth is me and the kids hung out all day. In the late afternoon my daughter T went to spend the night with her friend down the street and me and L went over to the neighbors for an exclusive outdoor showing of Shrek 2. It was awesome. They had hung a sheet on the fence and projected the movie from a laptop through one of those projector things. There were probably 25 people there, including a butt load of kids. There was popcorn, candy and hot chocolate. My ex, FA, called and asked if there was anyway she could not pick up L for the night. She claimed she was tired from a long day, but I figured otherwise (more on this later).

After the movie L and I returned to the house and I settled him into my bed while I checked out a few new blogs I have recently discovered. Ya’ll really should check out Foxy and Chickpea. Damn these two hot and sexy women write about some steamy stuff. Be warned, much of their stuff isn’t work friendly, but it sure is stimulating! I ended up getting in bed around 10 pm next to a snoring four year old with the intention of watching a movie on HBO, Cinemax or Showtime. Instead, the next thing I knew, I found myself waking up with sunlight streaming through the window and L trying to put my glasses on my face saying, “DAD, will you fix me some breakfast???” It was 7am. I rolled over and told him it was much too early, and he needed to go back to bed. About 45 minutes later I was forced to get up and heat him up some “Pixar ‘Incredibles’ Pop Tarts”, then I went back and slept till 9. When I finally drug my ass out of bed he had the nerve to ask whether I was going to make some bacon and eggs. Uh, no….pop tarts will have to do.

I guess the reason my weekend turned out to be so lame was due in part to this crappy cold I have had all week. I have been coughing and sniffling and I reckon I was just a little too run down to try and have much fun. By the time Susan returned yesterday the house was half way clean, and everything was in order for her arrival. She put away her clothes and crawled into bed for a three hour nap. While she slept I vacuumed and washed her car, and then did the same with my company car. We ended up dining on the roast/potatoes/carrots and green bean casserole I had made and then got in bed to watch Desperate Housewives. Oh, yeah….after dinner and before TV we had us some “I sure missed you” sex. It was nice; her on top, then doggie (she came), then finished up missionary (I came). It was nice, not for the sex, but because we got to kiss some for a change. I sure do like to kiss, just don’t get to do enough of it.

Today I have been out of the office (house) since around 9 this morning. I was working with the guy who flew in from Indianapolis. It was a productive day, and I learned quite a bit. Tonight I made a nice teriyaki chicken dish with rice and broccoli. It was pretty good if I might say so myself! Now, here I sit, catching you up on my boring and non-blog worthy life. I keep telling myself that I shouldn’t post anything unless something exciting happens, but if I were to do that I might not be posting till around Christmas. So ya’ll will just have to put up with my dull posts until something exciting happens in my life.

One final thing before I post….I am very concerned about someone who I consider to be one of my good blog friends. I have never spoken to this person voice to voice, but I have chatted with him on several occasions. I hope to be able to meet him in person sometime early next year. He is going through an extremely difficult time and he and his family need to be in all our thoughts and prayers. I have spent a lot of time recently thinking and worrying about G.H. and I hope you all will send some good wishes his way. I think he would really appreciate all the positive thoughts you could send him.
