Been slammed with work today, but pretty much finished now. I thought I would take some time to recap my weekend for you (in case you care). There was some good lovin’, some quality family time, and a fun night out on the town.

Oh, you want details? Okay…..Friday I got home from a big meeting down in Montgomery and walked in to find my wife and her best buddy Susie G. engaged in the 69 position on the couch. My wife looked up and invited me to drop pants and come join them……no, just kidding, but wouldn’t that have been cool to walk in on?? They were acually watching movies and drinking pina coladas. I was recruited to run to the liquor store for some more. When I got home we all sat there and watched a new release which was pretty good, and we all had a few more cocktails. Susie G went home around 5pm and I went out to Blockbuster and rented Barber Shop 1 and 2, and got T a PS2 game. Susan and I spent the evening watching Barbershop and once the kids were in bed we slipped off for some orgasmic fun betwixt the sheets!

Saturday morning I made a big breakfast for the family and we cleaned house, watched Barbershop 2 and laid around. That evening Susan made a HUGE dinner for us all, some kind of chicken casserole and corn stuff she found on one of her favorite websites. It was good and we settled in to watch USC beat Va. Tech. Didn’t really care about the teams, but we are SOOO damn glad it’s football time again!! That evening Jim and I went out to meet a friend, Chris, at a jazz bar downtown. We had a blast playing darts and drinking too much. Met Kevin the bartender there and he was quite entertaining, not to mention he made some strong ass drinks! In a moment of my extreme drunkenness I told him about my blog and he said that he also had a site on Yahoo where he had posted pics of himself. I told him to send me the link and I would link it on here. Well folks, he sent me the link and all 60 some pics, but in the effort to keep this site’s NC-17 rating I had better not link the pics. Kevin, if your reading….please accept my apologies. After the bar Jim and I joined Chris at his house for a few more rounds of darts, and drinks with some blackjack thrown in for good measure. It was fun and around 4am we made our way back to our respective houses. In case you’re wondering, Susan had no problem with me staying out all night. She often goes out for drinks with her work friends and so far this is something I, in my pathetic boring life, have yet to do….Without her being there of course. It sometimes gets old tagging along with her and her work buddies.

Well, now to my tired and hung over Sunday….actually I wasn’t hung over, but I sure was TIRED! Only got to sleep about 3 hours before the day beckoned. Not much went on yesterday. I did go buy groceries, and $120 later, I came home with a trunk full. We again sat around watching t.v. Had some good family time with the younguns watching a very cute movie together. I highly recommend it. In the early evening I made hotdogs and fries and after dinner the kids went out to play with all the other kiddies on the cul-de-sac. Once they were out side Susan got up and invited me into the bedroom. Twenty mutually fulfilling minutes later we returned to watch the MTV Music Awards and get the kids in for their baths. I was in bed and asleep an hour later.

I slept like a rock and 10 wonderful hours later (6:30 am) I awoke to begin a new week, and it’s been busy all day!

A couple times a week I read a blog called “Big Dick’s Place” and I usually am entertained by his no nonsense, sometimes gruff way he looks at the world. After all the title of his blog is, I believe, his attempt to describe himself, not his member. Well today I read his post, and couldn’t help but find myself in total agreement with his interpretation of events. With his permission I am linking this post here. A very interesting, and accurate perspective…IMO.

Found this site today, and have spent the past few minutes looking at familiar places I have been or lived. Unfortunately when the satellite pics of my address were taken, 1997, my house and the one next door weren’t built yet, but I can see the rest of the cul-de-sac.

Edit (9-10-04): In looking back I realize that I was wrong, my house was indeed built during this time and had been for a year. The blank space I was thinking was my house is actually my next door neighbor’s house.
